Grand Madam President Althea Lane will be visiting Iowa March 17 - 18, 2019. She will be visiting the Grinnell Auxiliary on Sunday, March 17th with All State Initiation following a Supper at 5:00 PM. All State Initiation will be at 7:00 PM. Althea will also visit Red Oak on Monday, March 18th where there will be a social time at 5:00 followed by supper. We hope you will plan to attend one of these events and meet this wonderful Eagle!
Grand Worthy President Carl Burnett will be visiting Iowa on March 7 & 8, 2019. He will be in Council Bluffs on Thursday, March 7. Council Bluffs will host a Dinner beginning at 6:00 pm with a check presentation following. He will then be in Creston on March 8, attending their State Charity Night. That supper begins at 6:00 with a Fish, Chicken and Mt Oyster supper, followed by an auction, raffles, and 50/50. A great loss in Albia Community & Eagles. A Charter Member, David Reed, passed away February 14. He was very instrumental in setting up the Charter in Albia and has been a member since. He was Iowa State Madam Treasurer Bobbi Jo's Great Uncle, friend, and all- around great guy to talk to since the passing of her Grandpa in 2009. He and Uncle Ray, a PWP multiple times, were extremely close and bonded together even more after the passing of her Grandpa he was the oldest of 8. All family mentioned are charter members in Albia.
