Hi All!
I am spearheading the decorating committee for MINK Conference this year along with Lisa Miller.  As most of you know, we have a very slim budget to work with and lots of decorations that are needed between the head table, centerpieces on the tables, registration area, picture backdrop, general decor, etc.

I have spoken with Shelley Anderson about what ideas we have and the direction that we are planning to go with everything and they are completely onboard. 

That being said, if anyone has anything Jungle Themed that they might be willing to donate for use at MINK (to be returned at the conclusion of the Conference), can you please reach out to me directly with pictures via text @ (641)799-5577 or via email @ [email protected] to see if it is something that we may be able to utilize?  I know several have offered or donated items already so THANK YOU for that!!!

The Decorating Committee would be extremely grateful for any help that we could get with gathering decorative items that might work with our theme and decorating plan of attack.  We would also welcome any and all help to get decorations set up prior to the start of the Conference and with the tear down/cleanup afterwards!

We have a lot of good ideas going and decorations in the works and really want to WOW everyone!!

Unfortunately, this is not a happy message.
PW's cancer is back with a vengeance and we are running on short time.  We have a few things planned in the next couple of weeks.  I'm not sure we will be at the Mid-Winter conference.  

We are making plans for the last part of her life.  The doctor is not willing to do any additional service at this time, so we are just waiting this out.  We are sticking with the palliative care team and the home health folks.  We have an appointment with hospice on Friday and will most likely be making the transition sooner than later.  

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she continues her journey.  If you are interested in sending a card her address is:  208 E 5th St Apt 5D, York, NE 68467.  Feel free to share this information with your Aerie / Auxiliary.
