A reminder to Auxiliaries to bring a centerpiece to convention for the membership luncheon which will be on Friday June 16, 2023. It is customary for it to be related to the theme or colors for the year of the Madam President. These are given away via raffle drawing at the end of the meal and program.
With the charity slips having the ability to be emailed this year, it caught a few people by surprise. Burlington and Cedar Rapids are the ones I hear most common being received. If anyone else has sent out their charity report "slips" via email, please double check the person received it. If you sent a charity receipt for Parkinson to Tammy Crandall in Grinnell via email, could you please resend it to her updated email? She thanks you! [email protected]

While sending thoughts and prayers out to our Eagles who are under
the weather, include State Aerie Mom Nellie to your list. Nellie got home Sunday, but did spend Saturday night in the Marshalltown hospital. Apparently her back was hurting and that's why she went. But, come to find out, she was having trouble with her oxygen - which may have been a partial reason for her recent headaches. Anyway, according to Jo Jo, they were going to make her an appointment with her doctor and see about some new meds. But, as of last evening, she had returned home and was to be on oxygen 24/7 for now. Bu, Jo said, she was feeling much better. If you have an extra thinking of you card laying around, cards can be sent to Nellie at: Nellie Morehead 1008 S Prospect Dr Trlr 61 Toledo, IA 52342 Kim H.
