Paws & Effect is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises, trains, and places highly-trained service dogs with veterans with PTSD, TBI, and mobility impairments. They also recently added a children's autism assistance program, adding to their established therapy dog programming across the state of Iowa. Their goal is to place our service dogs with disabled veterans and children at no cost to the recipients. Paws & Effect is not affiliated with any political party or religious organization.
These dogs make an incredible difference in children’s lives and we are honored to be a part of making their world better place in which to live.

DES MOINES, Iowa —The Youth Emergency Services and Shelter in Des Moines offers a safe place to stay for children facing a wide variety of difficult situations.
Now there is a new member on staff to offer the kids help without saying a word.

Meaning we will receive all funds raised by the organization over the next year.
