Bill,Would you do us the service of getting this update out to everyone.Joe is doing fine. He has had his right prosthesis for a couple of months now and is getting along fine. He was casted for his left one 3 weeks ago, but haven't heard if he has it yet.Anyone still wishing to send cards may now send then directly to him. His address isSSG. Joseph James

Red Oak (Iowa) Eagle Aerie member SSG Joseph James, 25, was
injured Monday,
April 7, in Iraq. While out on a mission, the vehicle James was in hit a
road side bomb. As a result of the explosion, SSG James lost both legs.
Currently being prepared to transfer to Germany, he remains in serious
condition in a hospital in Baghdad. He will then later be transferred to
Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington DC.
SSG James is in the US Army stationed out of Ft Carson, CO. He was on
his fourth tour in Iraq.
SSG James is the son of Red Oak Eagle Aerie President Ric Adams and his
wife, Sally.
Cards may be sent to SSG James in care of the Red Oak Eagles Aerie.
